Aug-06-2024 $686.00 usd loss -Daily doji bar

CTTool010 enabled overnight form the session start. After the previous big sell of  the price started trading up with a grid set closed in loss.

 

But the price went up in a strong direction with some profit collected by the CTTool010 with long grid sets.

I went off my trading desk and returned at 6.00 EST. The price rotated to the down side and ranging up/down in extended range with some grid set's in profit and another set's in lose.

From more than usd$600.00 in profit now with a loss of usd$265.00.

The price resumed the up move increasing the losses in retracements.







A new reverse with CTTool010 triggering short grid sets but price stopped moving and now is sideways.




Almost all day we had rotations, with a few grid set's in profit but more in lose.







Right now is a little hard to see what grid set's are in trend mode and which ones in counter trend mode so will adjust the CTTool010 to see it but next trade was a counter trend set.

No a trend set closed almost immediately because the volume wave filter.

Then i had a disconnection from the broker, and after reconnect i did not got the charts updates so needed to restart the platform. From here i had a loss of usd$341.00 that will include in the final trading profit/loss.

Price continued trading sideways and a long trigger enabled the buy grid set closed breakeven.




A pause in price at noon.



And the market started moving up with long grid set's.



Buy again a pause in price. A weak move making like a big flag for those who trade price patterns. Price trying to break the down side but the move did not progressed.




Now an Up possible break with one grid closed immediatly.




But price took a down move with very strong momentum returning to the volume profile value area and closed because the supply level as support in price.




Inside the value area the price made rotations with the counter mode enabled but not getting the triggers to enable the CTTool010 long or short grid sets.

 Then the price moved down without much progress and ending this trading day with a loss of usd$341.00 plus a lose of usd$345.00 total usd$686.00 in loss





Still getting hard to be profitable in rotations and ranging environments so with this trading day i see some adjustment to make to the CTTool010 and template.
